Nashid Kamal, the grand daughter of the legendary musician Abbasuddin Ahmed and daughter of former chief justice Mustafa Kamal and Professor Husne Ara Kamal, and trained by Ustads PC Gomes, Akther Sadmani, Quader Zameeree and famous maestro Pandit Jasraj of India, has been an outstanding singer of Nazrul Geeti, semi-classical, folk and Urdu ghazals in Bangladesh for over four decades.
