The Indian High Commission, Dhaka will organise an evening of 'Nazrul Sangeet' by Dr Nashid Kamal on July 31, reports BSS.

The event will be held at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre at House No. 35, Road No. 24, Gulshan # 1 at 7.00 pm, an Indian High Commission press release said Wednesday.

Nashid Kamal, the grand daughter of the legendary musician Abbasuddin Ahmed and daughter of former chief justice Mustafa Kamal and Professor Husne Ara Kamal, and trained by Ustads PC Gomes, Akther Sadmani, Quader Zameeree and famous maestro Pandit Jasraj of India, has been an outstanding singer of Nazrul Geeti, semi-classical, folk and Urdu ghazals in Bangladesh for over four decades.
